VIEW is a collection of projects by graduates from Harvard GSD in 2008. It offers a synthesis of the work produced and selected by the students as an example of their biggest design accomplishments of the year. The exhibit and publication reflected the multiplicity of approaches to design in the Age of Globalization.

The project by Ivan Shumkov is the Bao'An airport in Shenzhen. It was designed by using the parametric software Bentley GC. This large-scale project was both a challenge and opportunity for exploring a design that is responsive to the local climate and the complexity of the airport typology. The project was unique contribution to the design discourse at the Harvard GSD.
