I-CHAIR PROTOTYPE
Cambridge, 2007

The project is designed and manufactured with CAD-CAM technology. The Industrial design applies CATIA and CNC milling of wooden profiles. The profiles are connected among themselves and sanded. No additional coloring is applied as the wood is visible. The chair provides visual transparency in the lower and back parts and is continuous on the parts in contact with the body: the seat and upper back. The legs can go back under the seat for more comfort. The shape of the chair adapts to the human body.
